Bricklayer — Plumas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Plumas County, California. You will be based on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Part-time with flexible hours.
