Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Oredo, Edo. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
