Press operator wanted in Inyo County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Inyo County, California. The job is at an auto components factory. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
