Immediate opening: foundry operative (Anambra State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ekwusigo, Anambra State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry ₦1,200 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
