Furnace operator wanted in Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Boone County, Iowa. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
