Industrial sewing operator — Clay County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Clay County, Alabama. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 4+ years on the tools preferred.
