Solid plasterer • Rockdale County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Rockdale County, Georgia. Day to day you will skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; check walls for plumb and level as you go. You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
