Brickwork mason — Miami County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Miami County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
