Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Knox County, Kentucky. The job is in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
