Road roller operator — Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a road roller operator in Union County, Illinois. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time, day shift.
