Refrigeration and AC technician — Pickens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Pickens County, Alabama. You will be based at an air conditioning service centre. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules Your main tasks: • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
