Lathe programmer-operator — Schenectady County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Schenectady County, New York. You will work in a tool room. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
