Panel welder — Schenectady County

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Schenectady County, New York. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
