Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Lewis County, Missouri. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
