Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Glasscock County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch.
