Panel painter • Nassau County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel painter in Nassau County, New York. You will be based at an accident repair centre. Day-to-day duties: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
