The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
