Rigging foreman — Morrow County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Morrow County, Ohio. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
