Structural MIG welder — Middlesex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Full-time, day shift.
