Brickwork mason — Forsyth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Forsyth County, Georgia. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Rotating shifts. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
