Die-casting operator — Anambra East

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Anambra East, Anambra State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
