Immediate opening: foundry labourer (Jigawa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Roni, Jigawa State. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
