Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Marin County, California. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Full-time, day shift.
