Stone mason — Gratiot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stone mason in Gratiot County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
