Elevator service technician — Lewis County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Lewis County, Kentucky. You will work in a residential tower block. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
