We are recruiting: finish carpenter (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Perry County, Kentucky. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Your main tasks: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
