Slinger signaller • Lee County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Lee County, Florida. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
