Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Cedar County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads.
