Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Island County, Washington. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
