Line cook • Henderson County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a line cook in Henderson County, Illinois. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
