Laundry presser — Gove County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Gove County, Kansas. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 1+ years on the tools preferred. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
