Presser — Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Wayne County, North Carolina. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
