Great opportunity: die-casting operator (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Lake County, Indiana. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
