Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
