Vacancy available: elevator service technician (Maine)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
