Immediate opening: brick mason (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Lincoln County, New Mexico. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
