Gantry crane operator — Rains County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Rains County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Full-time with occasional weekends.
