Aluminium technician — Leelanau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
