Sheet metal welder — Lane County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lane County, Kansas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 1+ years on the tools preferred.
