Moulder — Webster County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Webster County, Georgia. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
