Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Wright County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
