Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Whitman County, Washington. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
