Concrete shuttering carpenter — Marengo County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Marengo County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
