Precision welder — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Clay County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
