Elevator technician — Victoria County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Victoria County, Texas. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
