Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Columbia County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid digital tachograph card On the job you will handle: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
