Overlocker operator — Brown County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Brown County, Indiana. The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
