Blocklayer — Ado-Ekiti

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
