Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Morrill County, Nebraska. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift.
