Pressman — Cullman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Cullman County, Alabama. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
